Claire Maguire is the founder of Raw Horizon wellbeing retreats, where I had the pleasure of working at the retreat space after training with her.

What is Coaching?

Coaching is a process that aims to improve performance and focuses on the 'here and now' rather than on the distant past or future. Coaching is unlocking a person's full potential to maximise their performance. It is helping them to learn rather than teach.

Coaching is a goal-focused (or solution-orientated) approach. It is the ability to elicit clear, well-defined and emotionally engaging goals, that inspire the client to take action and follow through.
